Appointments

Families may be eligible for Medicare rebates with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). This referral can be provided by your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist.

With a valid referral, Medicare provides rebates for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year.

The current Medicare rebate for 50 minute sessions with a Clinical Psychologist is $145.25 per session. 

The current Medicare rebate for 30 minute sessions with a Clinical Psychologist is $98.95 per session. 

Medicare rebates can be processed following payment.

Fees are below the Australian Psychological Society recommended fee schedule. 

Standard Appointment (50 minutes) - $250

Short appointment (e.g. toilet training/dilatation support)(30 minutes) - $180

Telehealth/Phone Appointment (50 minutes) - $250

Concession rates are available for Health Care Card holders.

Psychological support is available for children who are NDIS participants, where therapy aligns with the goals of the child’s plan.

Both plan-managed and self-managed participants are welcome.

Rebates may be available depending on your level of cover. Please check with your health fund. We provide itemised receipts for claiming.
